I’m Mr Keith Mutimer, a Melbourne-based Specialist Plastic Surgeon with over 30 years of experience in private practice. I consult personally with each of my patients and believe strongly in providing detailed, honest information so you can make informed decisions about your surgical journey.

My primary focus is facial aesthetic surgery, including facelift and neck lift procedures, rhinoplasty, eyelid surgery, facial implants, and lip lift techniques. I also offer fat injections to support facial surgery. I perform surgeries for both men and women, with a focus on achieving natural, balanced results.

I operate from Cabrini Brighton and Linacre Private Hospitals, and have trained, worked, and lectured internationally, in the UK, Europe, the USA, and the Pacific. My early surgical education began with a Commonwealth Scholarship to Monash University, followed by training at Melbourne’s Prince Henry’s Hospital, Royal Melbourne Hospital, and the Victorian Plastic Surgery Unit.

I earned my Fellowship in Plastic Surgery in 1986 and went on to complete international fellowships at Oxford University and Harvard Medical School. I was also the Chief Resident at Brigham Hospital in Boston and worked at Children’s Hospital Boston and Lautoka Hospital in Fiji.

In addition to my clinical work, I have made extensive contributions to humanitarian surgical programs. Through my involvement with Interplast, I’ve performed cleft lip and palate surgeries across Southeast Asia and the Pacific, helping patients in countries including China, Fiji, Tonga, the Philippines, Vietnam, Vanuatu, and Sri Lanka. 

I was honoured to serve as President of Interplast and, in 2021, was awarded the Member of the Order of Australia (AM) and the RACS International Medal for my longstanding contribution to international surgical care.
