About Dr Shukla

I’m Dr Lipi Shukla, a Melbourne-trained Specialist Plastic Surgeon with a strong focus on reconstructive microsurgery, skin cancer, and peripheral nerve surgery. I hold both general and specialist registration with AHPRA and am a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.

My clinical practice includes surgery for melanoma, skin cancer, hand injuries, and reconstruction following breast, head and neck cancer, or trauma. I also have a special interest in helping patients with nerve compression syndromes such as occipital neuralgia, a condition that can cause chronic, debilitating headaches.

I hold public appointments as a Consultant Surgeon at The Alfred and St Vincent’s Hospital and operate privately at Holmesglen Private, Cabrini Brighton, Linacre Private, St Vincent’s Private, and Epworth Freemasons hospitals.

In 2023, I pursued further training overseas through clinical observerships in the USA, UK, and Europe, working alongside experts in peripheral nerve surgery. I’m passionate about combining surgical skill with compassion to ensure every patient receives thoughtful, individualised care.
