– Fat Dissolving Injections
Fullness under the chin (referred to as a double chin) is often caused by ageing, genetics or weight changes. Double chin treatment involves a series of small injections that dissolve fat cells and tightens up the neck/chin, resulting in a more contoured neck profile and jawline. This is a non-surgical procedure and results are permanent.
Double chin removal sessions are individually tailored. Treatment injections are usually given six weeks apart. Most patients will start to see results within weeks of the treatment and experience visible improvements to their chin profile in two treatments.
There is minimal downtime after receiving a double chin treatment. Some patients may experience some swelling and redness to the area however any slight discomfort experienced will resolve quickly. Normal activity can be resumed immediately following treatment.
The most suitable candidates for double chin treatment are those who have good skin quality. Patients with loose skin and minimal neck fat are generally more suited to a neck lift.
