Last weekend Associate Professor Ramin Shayan and Kristin Thornell from Brighton Plastic Surgery attended the 2022 Lipoedema Australia Conference in Sydney.

The conference was attended by a diverse group of professionals, GP’S, physiotherapists, massage therapists, nutritionists, exercise specialists, plastic surgeons and people with lipoedema, all aiming to improve the knowledge, understanding and treatment for Lipoedema. Through knowledge and collaboration Brighton Plastic Surgery provides expert, carefully planned, patient-focused care, that relieves the symptoms of lipoedema and gives hope to patients and their families.
