Down time is minimal to none, you may experience facial redness for 12 – 48hrs after the treatment but we apply a Cover Recover™️ after the treatment to seal and heal the skin and cover any redness.
Your Appointment
Your first step is a Dermapen consultation with Mr Mutimer. If you would like to book a treatment, you will meet Mr Mutimer again at that time as he performs these procedures himself.
You will arrive ahead of your treatment time to have local anaesthetic cream applied to ensure this is a comfortable treatment.
Alongside your treatment are a range of cleansers, exfoliants, moisturisers, treatment creams, recovery covers, balms and masks. These are medical grade dermaceuticals with powerful active ingredients for anti-aging and corrective skincare. You will be given these creams to use for 2 weeks after your treatment, if you wish to use them for longer, just ask our staff.
Dermapen Costs
Typically, you will see results after the first treatment. Lasting and more significant results will become visible after 3-6 treatments. The condition of your skin will continue to improve over the next 6-12 months after a course of treatments, especially when combined with the recommended post – treatment care.
A course of 3-6 Dermapen treatments is recommended and these are usually 6 weeks apart. It costs $800 per treatment (which includes the aftercare skin products)
